New Website, Easier Scheduling, and COVID-19 Protocols!

To my current patients and prospective ones: After five months of working on it—and that includes delays due to the Coronavirus pandemic—I am happy to announce today the launch of my beautiful new website! www.ingerjohnson.com

Thank you to Torrey Moreno (Mindful Web Design https://mindfulweb.co/) for his excellent work. Torrey, you made my page so much more visually pleasing, simple, and functional. Thank you also to Erin Schedler (Erin Schedler Photography: https://www.erinschedlerphoto.com/) for your wonderful photos.

It was a joy to work with Erin. She has a natural photographic eye and can make what I thought would be a self-conscious photoshoot a complete joy. She created a comfortable environment in which we shared stories and laughed a lot. (As a result, Torrey and I decided to use more than one headshot and to really incorporate her photos as part of the overall web page look.)

New Online Scheduler

For my current patients, you might notice a new online scheduler when you log in to schedule your appointment. I chose to switch from Unified Practice to Jane, thanks to a colleague of mine who raved about it. While there might be a short-term learning curve to get used to the new interface, I think in the long run you will find Jane much more intuitive and user-friendly. Please email me if you have any questions about scheduling your appointment: ingerj.lac@gmail.com

COVID-19 Clinic Protocols

Your health and safety are my primary concerns when you come into my clinic space. Know that I am the only clinician in my space, making it a safer, controlled environment. I ask that my patients wear a mask during session, as I do. I also follow the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention COVID-19 guidelines for healthcare professionals.

I reserve 30 minutes in between each patient session in order to change sheets and sanitize the treatment room, lobby, and restroom. This includes wiping down door knobs, all other surfaces, and the face cradle (on the treatment table).

Also, I will continue to send a screening check-in email prior to each patient’s visit. I ask questions about current health/symptoms and possible exposure to those with SARS-CoV-2, including questions related to travel. If you have a cough, fever, sore throat, or body aches, I will advise you cancel and reschedule for two weeks later. All of these protocols ensure a clean clinic and healthy patients.

THANK YOU AND ENJOY YOUR SUMMER!
